Ok, let's kick this new thread off.

Here's a post of mine, reproduced from the SE and EA thread.

and intriguingly a rather fascinating video, looking into late November and December's prospects can be accessed via the following.

So according to Helen, the weather might get colder as we move into the end of november into december.....blimey, not rocket science that!....lol

Ok, I'm jesting...I know exactly what she means, the Met Office models are showing signs of northern blocking with LP's diving under the block into Europe meaning if the block is favourably placed then we could get an easterly draw

Meto aren't the only people who are jumping aboard this scenario;

http://www.britishweatherservices.co.uk/deepening-winter-on-target-for-ukireland/

Trying to cast my kind back to some decent "Easterlies" that have delivered snow-wise IMBY.

Any of my neighbours on here think of any?

I had a queen bumble bee decide that my bedroom this morning was a good place to hang out, very large and it sounded like a hedge trimmer was attacking my window. Black with a orange tail tip.

I think she was looking for a place to settle in for winter that or she was after the over ripe pairs on my window sill?

some type of umbrella might be in order!

Well, the rain hasn't quite reached here yet, close though, and some heavier pulses of rain are developing and training along the Front SW-NE....could be quite a wet night for some districts

Well there seems to be a quite a lot of surplus water around this morning so looks like the rain came early hours this morning and has assed for today? (my NW forecast last night told me it would be arriving this morning at about 11 am onwards hence my query). Dont get my wrong it is a plus if there is no more today. Anyway just how much did we have last night? Hoping GTLTW will tell me :) In my quest to try and find out some nearby stations telling me 6.3mm - That is per hour I believe but what is the total though since midnight? ..and what is that in comparison to the monthly average...

Apparently we have 18.3 mm ( i think so far for November) and somewhere I read 36mm is our November montly average. So will this be exceeded this month.

In trying to do a little research I found this site too. So for those of you near a racecourse here is another weather site..
