  1. Have faith people, we are still 6 days out, a long time in weather terms. The Met Office said the models are not handling this well. There will be further corrections in the coming days. It's still all to play for IMO.
  2. I remember that well. February 4th 2012. Started off as snow in -1ºC and then turned to rain, while most of England had a fantastic snow event.
  3. Well, to be fair, it's been a great day of snowy weather for me in Ogmore Vale. The snow overnight was much better than expected, it's just a shame this afternoon's intensity didn't last a little longer. Looks like that's it now until the next system comes in overnight, but I'm not expecting much (if anything) from that here in South Wales. Attention now turns to mid and North Wales - enjoy!
  4. Moderate snow here and starting to settle again, covering the melted patches. I think those of us with a bit of elevation could do well again.
  5. Light to moderate snow falling again now. Hopefully some good intensity to come by the look of the radar!
  6. Didn't most of us do well last night lol. Definite thaw setting in now, as temperatures are above freezing and precipitation is very light. Hopefully us in South Wales will get more later as heavier precipitation moves in.
  7. It really is difficult to stay on the right side of marginality these days, even after a near 2-week cold spell.
  8. Light rain here now, although it may be freezing rain which is vile anyway. Doesn't bode well for any transient snow on Sunday. Quite frankly, freezing rain can do one!!
