Just found an article on it this morning. I don't remember hearing of such large outbreaks before this 241 tornadoes rip through 14 states in 3 days

Unfortunate that another quake has happened again even though last time they warned another big one was coming, pleased that there's been a chance for a slight recovery after the last quake or it could have been a much worse situation

Hi, I've got a Nikon D40 with 18-55mm lens and Tamron 28-300mm telephoto. Also have a Nikon S220 for lighter camera!

I face west in southwest london (fortunately no street lamps unless you hang out of the window). Is this phenomenum likely to appear over all of the UK or certain regions and directions? I don't know much about this but missed out on seeing them in Finland a few years ago so trying not to miss out on the opportunity if there is a chance!

Montserrat is active again? I haven't heard anything on this volcano since I studied it at school!! Summer blizzard - although Vesuvius shows no activity, I was fortunate enough to climb it in the summer of 2008 and it was releasing little bursts of sulphur dioxide from inside the summit (which i can tell you is quite daunting especially when its the day before the last date it erupted some hundreds of years later!!)

I like how they've got the 'hurricane' bouncing off the islands directing it toward Texas!

Great pics - got a technical question as I'm planning some night photography with long shutters. Are you using a cable release or just the settings avaliable on the camera?
