  1. Was bucketing down here in Cheadle, has just cleared. Temp at the airport dropped from 8 to 3C, flippin' 'eck! It did look a bit sleety splattering on the window.
  2. Chucking down here just now, chased me inside from bricklaying a support for my new IBC waterbutt.
  3. All the showers are coming through here with hail in them. Fast-moving though, only last a minute or so.
  4. Haha, some of my colleagues are there and keep going on about it. Sadly their kids still have online school, there are no real snow days since COVID told us we can work and learn remotely!
  5. After 9mm of rain before 9, it's dried up nicely here, we even had some sunshine. So the dogs got a lunchtime walk, which looked out of the question based on the foreacast as it was yesterday.
  6. Snowing right down to sea level. https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=787501180077857&set=a.545406000954044
  7. My daughter's at 50m in Dublin and sent me a lovely snowy snap from her flat. The flow off the sea must be meeting the cold air from the north just right. It was just heavy sleet here earlier, being blown along on the wind. Now stopped.
  8. My daughter sent a pic from Dublin, looks great. Looking at the radar there's a good flow off the sea there and you must be hitting the sweet spot for cold coming down from the north.
  9. What's this? A third sunny morning? Lovely! No frost this time though.
  10. My nearest wunderground station: Personal Weather Station Dashboard | Weather Underground WWW.WUNDERGROUND.COM Weather Underground provides local & long-range weather forecasts, weather reports, maps & tropical weather conditions for locations worldwide. needs just another 2.8mm for this Feb to be ten times wetter than last Feb. Last Feb was admittedly very dry.
  11. Well we had a sharp shower around half eight, after which blue sky was seen briefly. The shower must have sucked up the moisture and created a break. Back to full overcast again now.
  12. Well that was the forecast when I went to bed. On walking up I see this from the met I don't see much support from other automated forecasts, hope it's wrong.
