  1. Eagle Eye I hope so we got hit bad in January and already recently replaced the garden fence.
  2. Eagle Eye I don't like this chatter about tornado outbreaks in the UK. NIMBY yes but just no please No!
  3. https://www.netweather.tv/live-weather/radar I hope this is the right place to ask?
  4. tomorrow, theres always tomorrow. I used string on Jan 2nd storm with 69mph just down the road. Bungee cords delivered by breakfast on the 3rd.
  5. Bungee cords, order a pack now you will have it back up and robust again by dinner time.
  6. Can anyone explain how a closed but not locked window was blown open by the wind? Is it purely the air pressure change that popped it open?
  7. You must have missed the news and the coverage and ignored the named storms list. it was not a squall we had several hours of 60+mph gusts and someone was killed during that storm too. Tonight is far from the first storm of winter.
  8. I don't see the difficulty just go to the localised computer forecasts you will see the warnings in place for your location.
  9. Really must have missed the Jan 2nd storm let alone the rest.
  10. met office haven't upgraded everywhere still showing 52mph in london doesn't match the charts.
  11. However they did mention the winds several days ago on the BBC on YouTube for it's weather channel. I even mentioned this days ago when asking about the winds it's video and computerised forecast did point and illude to.
  12. But I feel we've seen a lot of it lately. Heathrow 69mph during the previous London impacting storm, that is a very rare thing here. Not saying this Sundays will get to that but looking at the numbers it will get close to this number. We are used to 50mph storms but something almost 70mph is something that was very rare.
  13. I only like wind when big jet tv gets to heathrow but no thanks already had next doors fence fall into our garden last time hours after the worst winds already passed.
  14. Is there any model that shows / confirms next weeks windy/ gusty weather the BBC is talking about? It's both on the BBC Weather videos and the BBC Weather forecast website? Shows 60mph in London yet again a week on Tuesday to come overnight into the day on Wednesday. (22nd,23rd,24th).
  15. Living room got down to 18c overnight right now 22.4c feeling chilly. These censors take time to creep down and catchup ( Xiaomi Mi home Mijia.)
