  1. Ugh, heatwave on my birthday. Joy. The only plus is the possibility of a thunderstorm *fingers crossed*
  2. Trying to plan for working around the heat, but the forecasts are flip flopping around so much, it's making it tricky.
  3. It's amazing the lengths people will go to to avoid entertaining the possibility that they might be part of the problem.
  4. Every time I have a club night to go to this summer, the temperature perks up to 30 degrees. Gah!
  5. Quite right, I'd forgotten to mention that particular quirk. Still, I find the Ignore function handy for my sanity
  6. @Pewkzii If you find any posters to be especially irritating, you can use the Ignore function on the forum to stop seeing their posts. When you're viewing this place on a desktop, you can hover the mouse over their name, and a window will pop up with an Ignore button in the right bottom corner that will allow you to add them to your Ignore list.
  7. Lol, we're a storm nexus atm. Must admit I am quite enjoying the weather today, though I'm in London this weekend which might be a bit too hot for my liking. Here's hoping there's some thunderstorms down there on Sunday.
  8. Have just walked into work (after waiting out the heavy downpour) and it is classic sultry thunderstorm weather out there- brings back memories of summer hols when I was a kid. I've noticed that the precipitation that is forming is hardly moving on the radar so far, so could be some flooding risks.
  9. Looks like we have a third downpour approaching. I'm actually quite happy if it rains all evening- love the sound of rain, and my hayfever could do with a break!
  10. Despite how impressive they look, the storms here haven't had much sferics, just torrential rain.
  11. Dammit, failed to capture this when it looked like an angry doughnut.
  12. Pah, I thought to myself "I'll just enjoy the storms today, and not take a load of photos to upload" but pretty cloud structures tempted me.
