  1. Fingers crossed for us. Maybe nightfall and 1 degree lower will mean we actually get some meaningful accumulations.
  2. Temp here is hovering around 0C/-1C and we have -9 uppers over us and around 9 hours of constant snowfall. Really unlucky for us here! ME2
  3. Finally hit 0c now according to my phone. Which of course could mean anything between -0.4 and +0.4 - but trending in the right direction!
  4. Isn't that just the main frontal band though? Streamers are for this evening onwards I thought?
  5. Hey! Looking forward to it too. Such a shame that COVID means I'll be working from home. This Time last year I'd be having time off!
  6. XC Weather, based on the 06Z GFS has me at 30CM by the end of Tuesday. Snow continuing Wednesday through Friday which I am ignoring for now. But if it was to play out as currently modelled I would be looking at 50CM by the end of Friday. Location: Medway, NW Kent.
  7. Hi all, Don't often post but now is a good a time as ever. Looking forward to tonight's snowfall and any possible streamers. Trying to remember our snowfall totals from the BFTE in 2018. I think it was around 30cm. @Memphis snow may recall. Obviously not as cold as 2018 so precip intensity not as great but hoping the frontal snowfall in addition to 3 days of possible streamers can get us in the 20-30CM range.
  8. Gravesend a bit less hot than expected, probably because it saw the brunt of that thunderstorm last night. Rochester fast approacing 30C (according to phone).
  9. 29C here (according to my phone) at 11am, so 34/35C definitely possible? Medway
  10. For me it feels noticeably less hot this evening. I'd say my body has started to get used to the heat although the temp is around 23C which is a good 3C less than yesterday. Have to say, I could definitely feel the humidity today though.
  11. Light snow here for past 20 minutes or so. Getting heavier and more persistent as time goes on. Wainscott, Medway
  12. Heavy to moderate snow here in Wainscott, Medway. Couple of cms o grass and starting to settle on roofs but not roads pavements yet.
  13. Actually quite sad that this is the end of it. Been enjoyable posting again and reading everyone's posts and reports.
