  1. Very interesting from GFS and ECM for tomorrow, could be a dusting in a few areas, possibly to lower levels too.
  2. Some tiny flakes here at the moment which is a surprise. Can't see it amounting to anything though
  3. This morning's ECM and now the 12z GFS have trended Wednesday's low back northwards today, another 50-100miles further North and we would be back in the game.
  4. Don't think we will know until Sunday, still too far out at this range. Models output is still changing a lot
  5. Good to see a few flakes yesterday evening. Fingers crossed next week is one to remember, models looking good at the moment, and they have done for some time.
  6. Moderate snowfall here currently given a dusting on grass/ cars. A pleasant surprise!
  7. I'll set the alarm for about 3.30am to have a peak outside. Think the main event is tomorrow afternoon though, anytime from 11am onwards.
  8. BBC forecast was still using this morning's model data 100%, the low for Thursday was too far North to how it's currently being modelled
  9. Interestingly, the UKV has been shifting the snow for tonight Northwards all day on each run. It barely had the band making it into Wales this morning, now it's into the Brecon Beacons by 3am. The ECM has had this nailed this morning and has been slowly upgrading the intensity of snow with each run. Think many places will wake up to 1-3cm tomorrow morning, with the chance of significantly more in the afternoon.
  10. Got to be more warnings coming for the Met Office for tomorrow. ECM moving Thursday's Southwards event too, so Mid and North Wales well in the game for then too
