  1. Penrith Snow that block would've been nice two or three months ago, but we're always on the wrong side of luck it would seem.
  2. Around 2-3cm at Moel Famau car park this morning at 8am. Around 5cm half way up the mountain. I suspect the snow line was somewhere around 300-350m.
  3. Beeb brings that snow-line a little further South this morning.. stresses uncertainty though. I imagine it'll be more transient than that.
  4. Sorry Dave, I’ve only just seen this! Indeed, I’m still struggling. I bought a couple of different sensors, none of which have worked thus far. Youshiko have smartly hidden any model no. Or address codes on the sensor, so it’s a bit of a guessing game when it comes to finding a sensor that reads the same IP address that the board is coded to. Someone else online suggested it might be IP: 12C / 40. So I’ve bought a SI7021 sensor which arrives in a few days. looking at the MCP 9808, this is an 8Pin sensor? My one was 4 pin and it very much looked like an AHT25 sensor. However, this was tiny and I can’t even find a Molex small enough to hook it up. My soldering skills are not very good for micro work either. Ha. It’d be interesting to see your replacement, but only if it’s no trouble. failing the third attempt at a fix, I might think about investing in a better unit.. Youshiko customer care is just awful. many thanks! b.
  5. Couldn’t agree more. Background signals might be promising, but doesn’t always deliver. Hopefully we’re not seeing a front loaded winter
  6. I was just thinking the same. The Northern edge of the wider blob might just scoot South of Stoke..
  7. They are pepping up as they approach Stoke though which is nice to see for once
  8. GFS still keen! I suspect still over doing it though.. Monday could be one to watch for us Midlanders, too!
  9. I've just had the same problem with mine.. temp probe has stopped working. Contacted the supplier, he told me It was my bad maintenance.. unbelievable. Anyway, it seems like a really simple fix, but only if you can get a replacement probe that will fit into the board. I had a look on Pimoroni but I'll be honest, I have no idea what I'm looking for. Any suggestions? IMG_9743.HEICIMG_9742.HEIC If you ever figured out the solution, I would love to know! Also no idea what I'm looking for on Pimoroni..
  10. The tail end of a rolling Arcus passing just outside Crewe about 20mins ago. Dying cell presumably, no precip or anything.. bizarre. IMG_7010.MOV
  11. I just time-lapsed the tail end of this too, very bizarre how it just fizzled out. I’ll try and upload it now.
