  1. Yep exactly the same here today 5.5c and it was definitely colder last week than this week so much for the cold snap suppose we should be grateful for some dry weather while it lasts as normal service looks to be resumed on the weekend with mild wet windy weather yet again
  2. stopped here a while ago and i can hear it thawing outside looking at the radar that seems to be the end of it for south wales unless something suddenly appears
  3. i just ran the animation and i disagree about it hitting us it is liding more eastwards than north so it prgrssion is going to put it to the east of wales
  4. with people talking about a beast from the east again what sort of date are we looking at if is going to happen anybody know ?
  5. just saw forecast on bbc1 and matt showed and said snow for wales and south england tomorrow after rain to start then quite a big band of snow for wales on sunday he did say may change a bit but to keep watching so even now a day before it has not been pinned down yet
  6. strangely enough pontypool where i work on the met forecast for saturday is showing heavy snow for a few hours and then light snow for a few is not on the warning very odd
  7. according to metoffice torfaen is not in the warnng area but if you go on the bbc website they have the metoffice warning which say torfaen is included but the bbc are showing nothing but rain makes you laugh really how can they show rain and a warning for snow at the same time lol.Hopefully it will correct further south
  8. i work in pontnewynydd and live in cwmbran we have a little more snow where i work usually but nothing much to write home about you need to go further up the valley to blaenavon to see decent snow
  9. met radar showing intensity easing and no pivot happening not really seeing much chance of any real heavy snow from this system tonight
  10. well still looks like the band is narrowing and slipping towards the east of the country not much of a pivot seems to be happening. snow stopped here now according to the met i should be having heavy snow so much for that is this turning to another over hyped event ?
  11. very light snow here nothing much at the moment hoping it gets heavier
