  1. Its very icy out there at the moment. The snow has a crust on it plus the slushy compacted snow on my road and pavements is lethal.
  2. Plenty of snow falling just a little higher than here, probably 250 meters plus. I had a drive up towards ringinglow and it was sticking. I'm at 200 meters and its heavy sleet.
  3. 11cm here in south west Sheffield though a slight thaw is underway now that the sun is breaking through.
  4. Good prospects id say. Temps seem to be staying very cold and the showers on sunday plus the snow on monday could really add up, here anyway.
  5. Had about 1" of snow this morning and most of that depth is still around where the sun hasnt got to.
  6. Still snowing here and just watching that area of snow moving up from the west midlands.
  7. Pepped up here in Dore. Some medium sized flaked in what Id call light to moderate snow.
  8. Hit snow at Chapel en le frith coming from Macclesfield to Sheffield. pics are from Ecclesall in Sheffield. No fog over there but just as icy.
  9. Moderate snow since 3.30 though has turned sleety now as it fizzles out. Average depth is 4cm.
  10. Had a walk around the village this afternoon. Very crunchy top to the snow and the light snow was sticking to everything. Still about 5" average coverage.
  11. Light flurries of snow and frozen drizzle gave a salting this afternoon. Here are a few more pics from south west Sheffield from today.
