Yeah but think I'd rather do it myself as I don't want to wait till October to get it fixed.

il have it done by the weekend.

Pretty good here on the Essex coast. They usually die out before they get here but this squall line packed a punch and gave me my first flash of lighting of 2016.

Getting the feeling tonight may be more of an issue than forecast

Already cost me structurally !

The forecasted ones with all the hype seemed a bit tamer than tonight

highest gust here now 70mph, and did it make a noise.

Well we need to be careful of those rouge powerful gusts...as for Midnight GFS has only gusts in low 50's for Dover. I'm not sure about anyone else but I'm sensing this may be more worse than feared.

I noticed that too. A dragging squall front will probably bring some flooding in SE London and along the Thames corridor.

I'm thinking it may have had something to do with the squall that went through essex north of us, as we've been lucky enough to miss them but it had to have come from somewhere.

And to think we are not even in the met office warning zone yet.

things became a little quiet for 20 mins or so but boy is it coming back! Wind is pounding outside and the rain is the heaviest it's been all evening. Got to refresh the radar!

I know, I keep telling myself that it'll just be a normal storm but this one feels different. That "otherness" which, looking back, I can remember on the eve of the 1987. Maybe I've just had too much red wine though.
