Winds gusting into the 50mph range but nothing special so far, although with the heavy rain it ain't too pleasant!

Gusts reaching 64 mph near Livingston in Scotland, probably worse to come. We're on a 600 ft hill and totally exposed to the west and south west so could be an interesting night . Horses tucked up in stables, but very agitated so I'm expecting much worse. Horses make great barometers :)

It's very breezy here now, I'm not sure how accurate it is but the WRF-NMM 2km on Meteociel is picking up some very strong winds in the south-east of Scotland and north of England this evening.

Winds really ramping up across Washington in Tyne and Wear now. Last gust I felt the whole house rattle. Not too strong though yet but looking more severe as the evening wears on and then again tomorrow night.
