Sorry for the stupid question but how do we post status updates?

Or from forum homepage when on smartphone scroll to bottom of page and there is the box to post in your own status updates above the existing ones.

Probably due to the forum change ongoing, Give it time as has been pointed out it will take up to 48hrs to settle.

Visually it's a dogs breakfast at the moment with no clear division between anything quoted and reply. OK, there is a couple of lines but that's it. Also, my favourites marker apears to have gone awol (now leading to a peculiar error page) so presumably will have to be updated. Haven't tried tablet yet as I'm still hiding behind the sofa from all the white splodge. Far too hard on older eyes.

Hopefully it will improve once the updates are complete.

Hi there, it all looks very clean and white and neat on my phone, haven't tried the laptop yet, thanks for all the hard work, maybe a simple button to change the background to magnolia or pale green or whatever makes it more restful on the eyes of those of us who spend too long staring at the delightful Netweather forum (ahem...)

just trying out the extra buttons above to make it bold and italic and underlined,  yay that works well too, cool:yahoo:and I will just see if I can attach stuff as usual

Looks like the default theme has disappeared.  Shame - really broke up the white.

Can't see a field to enter a status update either (though imagine all will be ironed out soon).

Some members have randomly had their ability to update their statuses switched off during the upgrade for some reason, so please shout if this is happening and we can switch you back on.

Not so good with change first impressions very bland although probably deemed by many as more professional & sleek I browse on my iPad and I've not encountered any 'bad stuff'. :)

Now logged in as a new member, Tony William Powell so netweather has a new user on board it seems, although not quite what I wanted, lol. Yes, that be me, the man formally known as gottothisweather, hello all. No rush with my request for now Paul, as at least I'm in.

Looking good and well done to all those involved in this process, new month, new forum looks. :drinks:
