Very wild out their today. about the same as Bani but perhaps with more sustained winds. Just been down to the beach, carpark at the coastguard is partly flooded with spray driving well inland. This was an hour after high tide.

I'm a bit too far south for this one. Mean wind speed around 37 mph with a gust of 57 mph is the best so far.

Strongest storm of the winter in the west, localized 93mph and 84mph  gusts was not forecast.

Lunchtime here was the wildest part of the day between 12 and 1.30.

Eased off since, now picked up somewhat NW wind now.

Strongest winds associated with some heavy showers died down since they passed through.

Yep, there are reports of damage and disruption from storm Clodagh and the impacts are probably higher than the Met Office were anticipating.

Gusts have actually been higher than either Abigail or Barney, 60-70mph quite widely and isolated gusts around 85-95mph.

Not particularly windy for most of the day here. The strong winds centered round a very short time period around half past two this giving a 55mph gust during showers a 57mph gust occurred later during another shower. Average wind peaked at 35 mph during first spell.  Most of the times gusts were just in the 40's and average wind speed between 20 to 24 mph. So basically got away with it.
