I hit the sperrins there and saw lying snow and falling snow so I'm happy. The new car is awful on the snow real bad understeer and wont stop at all i think its the "eco" tyres fiat fitted it with they're like plastic.

No snow, but likely to be the coldest day so far this Autumn. Min of 1.7C (so far) and max of 5.1C earlier. Currently 4.3C and slowly dropping under cloudy skies.

Proper tyres are king Gary!!

I'm a big fan of winter tyres but it's hard to justify buying new ones when these ones have only done 4k miles.

what has happened to the weather watcher from bangor - he used to be our regional mod?

Probably got a life! He does pop in now and again.

Well that first cold spell was a let down.

Yea it really was a let down even up as high as 300-400m it was only a dusting but it's only November bigger and better things are bound to come.

Well that was the ARTIC blast!! Wow! So if we are pinning our hopes on pm air in the next few weeks we will need a bit of luck I feel for us to be happy. The chase continues but at least it's better than mild muck! Could be a few good storms too

Yours was a "spell"? I didn't even get a snap! It was cold last night (night shift), today and tonight again, but the only snow I saw was on the M9 motorway about lunchtime... It was about 8 maybe 10 flakes of snow... Either that or I hit a tray of foam packaging on the motorway! Or a flock of very small white doves!!!
