Thunderwhack!

I just invented the 'thunderwhack'

Wondering if it might work - basically if blitzortung (or any other lightning plotter system) returns a map with a single strike, and you hear it - it's a thunderwhack!

Works for random thunder days - or as the first strike on a big storm day (like today)

To prove it you just post a screenshot of the map and shout THUNDERWHACK! (in caps)

Only an idea. But could be fun!

Sounds like too much effort to be honest :)

I'm not sure how that would even work. What's to stop somebody just lying? OK, a pathetic thing to lie about, but still....

I'll be straight with u all - would only work if everyone understood it and liked the idea - and looks like on reflection it just isn't everyone's cup of tea - still, passed a few minutes while everyone else was enjoying good old storms up north! :-)
