Fantastic photos there Alex! :)

Thanks Scott. :)

Constant and I mean CONSTANT lightning and thunder. Wow. We've waited 10 years.

Very well deserved. About time that Shropshire Storm Shield exploded!

LOL just replayed the loop from my post code and everything just brushed round us. A friend sent me a pic off heavy rain a mile away from where I was sat. Impressive but latest version of andriod won't let me forward it as an email so can't show you.

Quite a lively hour - 2,600 strikes or so!

Thats nothing. Years ago a storm from Birmingham thrashed that total in a minute. sadly split in two when it came to Sheffield and we got nothing bar rain. Started well with two houses struck and the boltek going crazy and getting me over excited.

Had to save that map. Just to look at when we get weeks of boring weather, there will always be the 22/8/15 Shropshire Lightningfest to lie back and remember....

Think this one is about the busiest day we've had - since having the ATD at least. Peaked at 10k strikes an hour. (June 2012)
