Tropical, East Anglia the hot spots for today 26c in Norwich I think another 30c day is a possibility. With another possible on Friday and Saturday making it 5 days in a row of 30c plus it is horrid in London.

I'm hoping Saturday doesn't get too hot here, was hoping to sit in the pub garden for a few in the afternoon and have lunch, then home for bbq, No way yesterday could I sit in that intense heat without a pool to dip my toes in :)

Just had a 20 minute light shower. Humidity building.

Sat in the garden with the dog and chickens after the dogs walk. Was so lovely and cool we all had a kip!

I love storms but unfortunately my dog hates them and screams at them even at 3am so as much as I enjoy a good night storm, I will be awake most of the night with doggie. My previous dog loved storms and fireworks.

It's still raining here but I notice to my South it's getting brighter, I wonder think that could be the rain done for the day here now till tomorrow night

Note: Stopped now and it feels like the wind has moved back to a ENE direction.

Sorry a bit off topic -

Have you tried Adaptil (plug in wall diffuser with calming effect) or (aptly named!) a Thundershirt? These might help to calm him down. Our previous dog hated them and in the end we got him pills to calm him but that was before other things were available. Our current dog thankfully doesn't bat an eyelid despite me rushing about with camera gear in and out the house.

Back on topic:

Grey gloomy clouds here, spots of rain, slightly fresher feel today which is a change from yesterday certaily. Chance to cool down the house a little and breathe before the next round of heat.

Storms fired in the channel - Would be giving those in the south east a nice light display if it were dark outside, but it's not and all I can see is a blanket of white cloud :p

Sun is back out now and the humid feel is rising rather quickly.

15 min shower passed through, is it more humid? I think so.

It doesn't feel it to me after that shower as the cloud is trying to break and I think the wind here seems to be more ENE direction. It felt worse this morning here.

I wouldn't say it has tbh because of the sun but the breeze is/was like it was back on Tuesday when although warm the breeze was nice...but in saying that since I posted the above the breeze has dropped.

Looking at xc weather and the meto it seems the wind will swing about the rest of the day

Off topic: Yes I do have a thundershirt, tried Adaptil, in fact most things. He's just a nervy type. He does settle if I have him on the windowsill watching though but that requires me to be awake lol. Thanks for your thoughts on that. Horrible to see animals stressed.

On topic: The humidity keeps building here. No direct sun but cloudy and bright. Indoor temp 25 degrees C.

Horrible night, the bedford breeze actually stopped for a bit then came back in another direction, so we had run round and open more windows.

As is the norm, rained a bit as we took bubs to school, cloudy as you like, in fact i almost put my jeans on rather than my shorts. Breeze coming back now,

19oC.

Yeah annoying how it's just missed out from hitting land proper.

Biggin - The Humidity has hot up again here now annoyingly as it's got more cloudy from the South again and the breeze has dropped totally.

Everything has gone east now, the suns out, may still be some convection about though, the clouds to the south west very interesting looking. Humidity finally seems to be dropping, fingers crossed, currently 82%. Temp 20, didn't think we'd ever get there today lol.
