The sun came out at around 10am and the temperature shot up about 5C in an hour. Currently 22.1C with a gusty breeze.

Warmest max of the year so far, and the warmest min and mean are almost certain too.

Well the record for here since 13 July 2013 with 31.8C equalling that day which was the hottest in 2013, still blue sky horizon to horizone, Td on 14.2C from a high of 15.6C at 1451

Hottest June day since June 2005 still keeps going up to the max recorded so far so may still go higher yet.

Pretty much cloudless skies, and very warm to boot. Current Maxes 23.5c at Mumbles right on the coast. with a weather station inland recording 28c.

 

Lovely breeze meant it never felt scorchio either.
