Yup seems to be the new trend this year, down to 11c now here and dark/grey.

There does seem to be a growing trend for high pressure moving in for June at least, but the foreseeable definitely not good.

Shag all sunshine here.

At least it was dry for the food festival at Weston Park. Managed to get some more Malaysian curry mixes (they are exceptionally good), a spectacular spicy carrot chutney, and enjoyed maybe the best burger from a van ever.

The sun actually came out this afternoon for a change, and is still out now. But the wind decided to join in and start up the moment it did, stopping the temp from rising much. May 2015 just cant get it all right.

The cloud missed the Midlands too much, so it just had to come back. That evil thing!

Luckily not too cool, though, with the current temperature around 16*C.

You know the old saying, 'washing the car to make it rain doesn't work'?

After all the forecasts today stating rain in the afternoon, I got back from the office at half six earlier to a bone dry garden. So. Watered all the pots.

From absolutely nowhere, it's now raining.

It's looking increasingly likely that the highest maximum temperature this month here ( 17.9c on the 11th so far) will be the lowest in May since 1994 when the highest max' was 17.2c on the 12th.

1983 holds the record for the lowest absolute maximum in May with 16.5c on the 31st
