April Heat Records Fall as Temperatures Soar in Japan, China, Korea

An extraordinarily warm air mass has been drifting across parts of East Asia this week, bringing record-breaking April temperatures to several countries.

I'm wondering if the slow clean up of China's low level/particulate pollution is also playing a role here? We know the impact on pan evap. rates our own dimming produced so what impacts across the region did their dirty coal bring? Now they have set upon their own 'clean air' initiatives we might see impacts across the pacific region as their 'dirty brown cloud' falls into the sea and sunlight is able to reach the ocean below at fuller strengths?

Is there any evidence that China used to be warmer before it started burning trillions of tons of coal and its people started driving millions of cars?

What does your intuition tell you about incoming sunshine levels before the engaged on their energy sector expansion and during it?. I remember plenty of images showing near fog like densities over major cities and I know how much chillier it is once the sun is obscured.
