Clear spells overnight, widespread ground frost. Quickly turning overcast after an initial clear start. Cloudy for the rest of the day, quite dull at times, though only the odd spit of light rain. the early evening saw a few cloud breaks developing allowing a few late sunny spells.

A dry night with long clear periods followed by a mainly dry morning with sunny intervals.

There's been a moderate rain and hail shower since 1320 followed by wet snow, and still snowing now but not settling.

The temperature has fallen from 5.9c at 1310 to 1.6c now.

A frosty start with sunshine turning to cloud giving showers of rain sleet and snow turning briefly white on high ground then clearing to give a mainly sunny rest of the day,max 6 deg,min 1 deg

Once the early afternoon showers of hail and snow had moved away ( by 1415 ) the rest of the day was dry with sunny intervals and a few distant showers.
