Hi

Really enjoying your storm from west sheffield on the edge of the peaks. Never seen a storm with so many lightening flashes. Huge thunderhead with linear lightning trails when near the edge of the system. Cant hear a thing though:)

Well after earlier stating it hadn't happened it take it bk lol... Best storm in years for me here... Drove out to faith ahem lake to watch the storms over the irish see toward Stockport come rolling in... Then unbelievable amount of lightning... Pretty sure something near me got struck too as there was a bolt then instantly the loudest clap of thunder I've ever heard.

Amazing lightening show.

Almost constant flashes for the last half hour or more.

That's really weird these storms have move south to north but there is some low level cloud that is moving the opposite direction

Is it just me or does the storm by Bradford seem to have split just recently with one going north and the other more to the west and growing... Just something someone said earlier today about storm that take a turn to the west being severe storms

on average theres a strike every 10 seconds or so, probably one of the most frequent ive ever seen! heavy rain just starting

It's been insane here strobe lightning c t c c t g shotgun thunder crawlers the works , called it to early me thinks :0..

The Lightning storm that I just had is amazing!! 10/10!! :D

 

I think its a once in a decade thing. Last one I think its in 2001.
