Well nothing here yet, was expecting it to have reached here an hour a go, but like the northerly of a few days ago it keeps decaying before it reaches here.

Stopped here, a few patchy coverings on the grass. I was expecting several hours of snow. I think the local forecast wasn't far off. Its very patchy in nature. That is, of course, presuming the remainder of this front doesn't push further into the area. I would say it is more showery In nature.

yes Barnsley too! Your right between sheffield and leeds almost in a line upwards so it should pass over you too

Rotherham seems to have only seen the light precipitation so far? Much heavier stuff is on the way. Lots of settling snow around Nottingham, with this continuing. I'm sure you will see a covering!

Yeah Mark looking back at the loop i think you might be right. Nottingham is the same altitude as here so it's a good sign evaporative cooling can do its thing

Patches of precipitation seem to be intensifying as the push northwards. Our region seems to have done well this winter, two good snow events so far!
