14℃ and sunny once again. It's turning out to be the perfect bank holiday, weather wise.

Nice and sunny here in London and the temps have shot up to 18c already, even higher values predicted for tomorrow!

That's rather high for that time of the morning? Top temp is currently only 16℃ and Heathrow is just over 14℃ :shok:

Not bad at all here in Darlington today once the drizzle early on moved away the sky has thinned enough to allow some brighter intervals

Maybe the Argos weather station is malfunctioning, although it is 16.9c in the shade! It says that pressure is falling and it is now predicting rain for the coming days!

Have just experienced our second night of moderate rain in three days so the drought of the last 10 months is begining to break.

Went for a drive this afternoon and the spring crops that were showing a lot of drought stress are changing colour but we still need more rain as evapo tranpiration needs  an inch of rain a week now so I hope this is not the last .Its probably to late for winter barley which is coming into ear at a very short height and almost three weeks early The minor duststorms of the last two weeks on the coastal sands should also not appear again till next spring

Will also be looking  for the garden to germinate now as it was sown a week ago into a powdery topsoil.

A lot of private water supplies are running dry in this area so they will be hoping for more rain as well.

Currently overcast with occasional thundery downpours and 16c

A 2nd decent day of the bank holiday and sunny for the most part, hazy at times especially early afternoon, when it was bright for a time rather than sunny. But properly sunny again now. Temps 14c, and feeling warm enough in any sunshine.

Tomorrow looks like breaking down from the west but 2 out of 3 decent days over a bank holiday is OK.

Hardly any sun today again, the south is hogging it all, very very boring. A few spots of rain last night and yet another max in the teens (14C).

What a dreadfully boring spring so far. No frost since March, no really cold days, no thunder, not much showery activity, and not got near 21C despite it being consistently warmer than average. Sunshine decidedly mediocre too.
