Finally Summer is arriving, wouldn't expect much in the way of rainfall over the next ten days as high pressure will be close by.

Gorgeous day today.

Another fantastic summers day. Already up to 22.7C here, so a new high temp for 2014, and by quite a margin if it keeps going!

Finally I have Internet again after moving house lol. Here in Ballykelly we seemed to keep missing all those thunder storms earlier in the week they always seemed to be just East of here

Overcast, but warm and humid. When the sun does come out, it's positively continental!!!

Not wishing to put the mockers on it, but the medium range to long range outlook is good too!

Here in Donegal for a few days where it's rained heavily for much of last night and most of today. The sky is grey, the hilltops are hidden by cloud. It's cold. Why is it on the rare times when there's good weather in Belfast, I'm somewhere else!

Max of 23.9C today, and 22.9C yesterday. The occasional cloudy/hazy spell but mostly sunny.

Hay fever is a b***h though!

I see on the MOD thread they want the pattern to back east…. Much like in winter we want it to back west!

Welcome to sunny Ireland, where we bate the east coast of England in summery weather!

Quite a forecast for next week, rare for Met Eireann to predict such high temps in advance.

MONDAY: Warm, dry and mostly sunny with light to moderate northeast breezes. Top temperatures will range 18 to 23 degrees Celsius, warmest away from eastern and northern coastal margins with onshore breezes.

TUESDAY: Even warmer with top temperatures ranging 18 to 25 degrees, best values over the western half of the country due to a light easterly breezes. Unbroken sunshine in many parts too.

WEDNESDAY: Staying very warm across the country with long spells of summer sunshine, cloud building a little in some areas though. Afternoon highs will climb to between 20 and 26 degrees Celsius with little or no wind, just local sea breezes.

The further outlook is for mostly dry, warm and settled weather.

Fantastic output from the various NWP for the good weather to continue in the reliable time frame and beyond, especially for us here in Ireland.

It was absolutely boiling here today - 25 degrees. I think the wee blip on Thursday/Friday will only be temporary, but we shall see.

Nother glorious blue sky day with the very gentle breeze cooling us down… It's just hit 26.3 degrees now. Met E said a max of 23 for my area today (I think). That's the hottest I recorded this year.

Got a max of 27.4C yesterday, and a minimum overnight of 16.7C!

Currently 19.5C, but mostly cloudy. I don't mind though, a slight break from the heat is welcome here.

Still very pleasant today, a lot of cloud around, but plenty of sun, and warm, with a max of 21.3 (not sure what time that was at, but I imagine it was about 2pm when we had lots of unbroken sun. Outlook is decent to good for the foreseeable, and no rain in sight (yet)

Very pleasant here today, a fair bit of cloud, but no rain, and lots of unbroken sunshine… The change awaits us however, and the weekend looks autumnal but warmish!
