First sferic I think, exactly at noon as well, how funny.

Here is the view from Stafford looking south over the line of intense precipitation...

ah, after a morning where the first low passed over me with some "normal" rainfall, it looks like I am in line for the next batch eminating from Wales.

No lightning strikes in it yet, but the sun briefly popped out about half an hour ago and you could smell the moisture in the air.

Perhaps I will finally leave the NSC....

We had quite heavy rain earlier today and it has now started again, not seen a glimpse of the sun all day. It is actually raining very hard here now.

Very dark to my south now. I'm really surprised there's no sferics in the Midlands yet, some of that ppn looks pretty intense.

I might have to have a drive out east soon because I'm guessing once again the storms will start just after passing Nottingham and then hit Lincolnshire.

Very boring to my North, East, South and West. Nothing to report here, again. It's just the western way lol

Lincolnshire getting another storm, are the showers moving W? or NNW? I cant decide. Anyway I doubt that storm will effect this area.

I've got my eye on the line just west of Nottingham. I'm thinking as it moves further east towards Lincolnshire it might intensify and produce sferics.

Waiting to see one more radar update then I'll probably go for a drive east.

Only problem is my Three internet is awful in that area so I will probably have to go without radar again.

Last couple of updates very encouraging, so I'm off out now.

I will try to get pics and video of anything exciting and share later, and if I manage to get internet, I might be able to give one or two updates while I'm out.
