Rinse and Repeat today, Convection has got going much earlier and in the same areas. Plan today is to head further down towards Tucson and towards Mount Lemmon for better views. View from our Hotel shows a Storm over Superior in the area we chased yesterday which we can see from our Hotel again.

Wish us luck.

Today blew pretty much everyone away with what we saw and got. Headed down to the Central Deserts today and almost immediately got into the suck zone of Dust Devils that were bordering on EF0 Tornadoes. At 1 point we counted 25 seperate Dust Devils. The footage is incredible with almost wedge like Dust Devils crossing the road in front of us and behind us. After that fun we ate lunch and headed South towards Casa Grande to an advancing line of Severe Thunderstorms and then mind blow number 2 with an incredible Haboob advancing North out of the Thuderstorms Outflow. We gave that footage to News Channel 4 in Tuscon and then played in some Hail Cores on the foothills of the Mountains. Headed back to the Hotel at dusk for more Storms and some Night-time Lightning shots. By this time the Haboob had reached Phoenix as well.

Incredible Day and pictures and Video to follow

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
