Hi all, stayed overnight in North Platte, NE. Yesterday turned out much better than expected ... as we managed to get on probably the only supercell across NW Nebraska.

Bit of quiet pattern next few days, and potential is very limited ... but chance of some scattered diurnal t-storms developing upslope towards and over the Rockies - so we are thinking of heading SW towards SE Colorado - where there's more warmth to south of cold front which has stalled near here in North Platte. Not expecting much along cold front - so that's why we are heading SW towards Rockies for some upslope ... though very limited moisture, upper level wind and CAPE means storms will be high-based, pulse-type and non-severe.

Tomorrow may head further south into TX Panhandle ... though will review what limited potential there is tonight for out next move. Very little opportunity atm ... but we'll have to make the most of the scattered diurnal storms that develop upslope.

Looks like the team are heading for this line of storms in the south east corner of Colorado.

1" hail reported to be falling from these storms at present.

Hi, just been paralleling the Front Range of the Rockies last hour or so between Denver and Colorado Springs, stunning seeing the shear wall of the Rockies just end on the edge of the High Plains. We are currently 20 miles north of Pueblo, and will then head SE to close in on line of storms over SE Colorado.
