Hi Guys

Well would you believe it is only just over 150 Days until we go Chasing those Tornadoes and Supercells. The time will fly by, so thought I would give you an Update on where we are with the Tours, just in case anyone is thinking about this for next year in the next few weeks, becuase when the spaces are gone...........well they are gone

Tour 1

--------

Tour 1 is the most subscribed Tour and for this reason we are having 2 Large Passenger Vans for this Tour which starts on Tuesday 27th April and runs until the 7th May, Currently we have only 2 or 3 spaces left for this Tour. The Vans will have a lot of room and we aim to get 6 or 7 people in each (12 Seater Van)

Tours 2 & 3

Tour 2 starts on the 9th May and runs until the 18th May and Tour 3 starts on the 20th May and runs until the 29th May, For these tours we will be running just 1 Large Tour Van, a fair few members have booked these tours with open tickets for either Tour 2 or Tour 3 so number left could vary. If you are interested please Contact either Me or Paul for information on availability.

I will update this thread when all spaces are gone or only have 1 space left just in case you want to see some proper weather next year

Well as Promised and with only 3 Months :lol: To Go here is a Booking Update and also an Update on what we can expect this year with regards to Chasing.

The Tours are now starting to Sort themselves out and we have a few Changes with regards to People Dropping out and New Bookings, also we are going with the nice new Chevvys or Dodge 4x4 (Well they make ours look like Mini's but you get the Idea)

Tour 1

We will be running 2 x 4x4 Vehicles for this Chase with the usual 5 people in each car, we will have In Car Radio contact along with the Barons, GRLevel 3 and Streets and Trips 2008, something new to this year is we will also be..............wait for it....................LIVE STREAMING! :lol: :lol: Straight back to you guys on Netweather.Tv, you will be able to see our every move on the Chase and also Paul assures me the Chat Facility will be available alongside the Images, meaning whoever is running the Verizon (Live Internet on the Move) will be able to answer questions as we are Chasing!!

This Tour like Tour 2 will be a 1 Car Chase Team, and is totally booked up now, so no availability left on the last 10 days of May Tour.

Just to whet some of your apetites those who are already down to Chase, please take a look at the thread below, in particular Posts 4 & 5 relating to the Expected La Nina and how it could and should affect the Tornado Season in the States, It is currently looking like an Above active Season again, and if you bear in mind that last May produced over 500 Tornadoes and the Biggest Outbreak for 5 Years from the 21-29th May then it is all looking very good Indeed.

Just Updating this Page as I made a Boo Boo on Dates in the Very 1st Post!

Just to Clarify

Tour 1

We will fly out on Sunday the 26th April and the 1st Chase Day will be Monday 27th April until Thursday 7th May 2009!

This Tour has an extra half day as we will be setting up equipment and if a Chase arises within a distance close to DFW Then we will Chase It

People will fly home on Friday 8th May (Changeover Day) and New Guests will arrive on that Day

Tour 2

1st Chase day will be Saturday 9th May and the last Chase Day is Monday 18th May 2009!

People will fly home on Tuesday 19th May (Changeover Day) and New Guests will arrive on that Day

Tour 3

1st Chase day will be Wednesday 20th May and the last Chase day is Friday 29th May 2009!

We then all fly home on Saturday 30th May!
