Those storms are large and they swelled up real quick (said in an American accent!)

http://www.ssec.wisc.edu/data/us_comp/us_comp.html as shown in this animation :)

When its loaded click zoom, then click on the storms and they will scale up.

Mat Grantham is just about to get lucky I think.

I got a message a couple of hours ago and Ian said the phone reception was really bad.

I would'nt worry to much not a lot of touchdowns yet only very brief affairs.

perhaps you and Julie should stay in touch so if one of you hears before the other we could be updated here
ian is with paul s and co
thanks Julie. As NL says, its probably just the reception and nothing to worry about :)

Hi Julie, I woundn't worry too much about not being able to get in touch. When I was with the guys it was close to impossible to get a mobile reception outside of the big cities. With Vodafone UK the only carrier you could use was AT&T or sometimes Cingular depending on your location, there are other carriers in the middle of nowhere but we couldn't use them. If the guys are in KS right now its normal for them to be off the air completly.

Ah good stuff!

just heard from ian, they are safe and sound thank God!!!!!!

Sorry I meant good stuff on you hearing from them. Post got screwed up. :)
