Snowflation (n): the devaluation of traditional units of measurement in the even larger teapot as snowfall becomes ever more scarce, leading to hyper inflation of snowfall. This can manifest itself both as measured fall (we've had 22 cm), and experienced conditions (it's a blizzard).

Maypril: the name given to an unseasonally warm 4th month of the year.

Augember / Augober: the name given to anyunseasonably warm autumn month.

The year now runs: Janwarmary; Febwarmerary; March; Maypril; May; June; July; August; Augember; Augober; Augemberember; Augcember.

Actually, Japril could work for Januaries of the modern winter, with temps in Jan more akin to those of the average April pre 1988!
