The signal is stronger on the EURO4  NMM is a little patchy  http://expert-images.weatheronline.co.uk/daten/proficharts/en/euro4/2016/02/01/basis18/ukuk/prty/16020306_0118.gif

Potential for a feature to run south on Wednesday morning, high ground in particular could be prone to some wintry weather.
  3. Yorkshire and Lincolnshire - Weather Chat

Squally showers passing through, gusty winds and heavy hail.
  4. Yorkshire and Lincolnshire - Weather Chat

    Heavy snow in Roundhay.
  5. From the other side of the pennines I took earlier, a good 7-10cm here Manchester looks to be doing really well if the radar is anything to go by
  6. Yorkshire and Lincolnshire - Weather Chat

  7. Yorkshire and Lincolnshire - Weather Chat

Agree you all deserve to miss the snow lol. Usually it's a level playing field but for some reason last year it was typical for here to see 5-10cm while parts of Sheffield at the same elevation would see 20-30cm.
  9. Yorkshire and Lincolnshire - Weather Chat

Measured 3cm of snow, coming down nicely.
  10. Yorkshire and Lincolnshire - Weather Chat

Snowing well here, nice sized flakes all surfaces covered
  11. Yorkshire and Lincolnshire - Weather Chat

    Lightest of snow here
  12. Yorkshire and Lincolnshire - Weather Chat

Possibly the most eastward extent looking over Southern Scotland which puts South and West Yorkshire in the sweet spot.

What's the first line of your postcode? Or do you live near a village etc cos I have no idea where you are. Send it this way!

Talk about gutting for North West England, I know I shouldn't laugh but it never ever goes in there favour. When they do do see precipitatio the northwest winds are too mild so it falls as rain and when it looks good it hits the statically snowy western parts of Yorkshire.

The radar isn't lying the precipitation is evaporating before it hits the ground.
