  1. Really annoys me when I'm driving during the school run and parents just let their kids run out in the road without making them stop and not reprimanding them. Teach your kids road sense!

  2. Storm Imogen

Well I'm not going to sleep tonight with that rain hammering my window.
  3. The temperature has just shot up, it almost feels humid????
  4. Goodness me, it's cold tonight! Would be nice to see some snow, but as ever I remain cautious until it's falling.
  5. So much stress. Don't know how I'm going to get through this.

It's just I've lost my love, my home, my car, my financial stability all in one go. It's a lot to deaal with emotionally and financially, especially when it was unexpected.

Great words, Spike! I've gone through the same as you and it is not nice at all!

You haven't lost yourself and don't. Finances can be rebuilt, you can drive a very old car for a while, and you can get the money stabilised. What matters is you. Love yourself otherwise no one else can...

Many hugs...living in France alone has had its good times, but I could have cried out for my beloved man who's waiting to come over, when I had my horrible experience with the storm on Monday, and all the residue has left me in floods tonight on the phone to my best friend. We'll get through it and I'll hug my soul mate before too long and you'll find your's...

  6. So after coping pretty well with all of this breakup, my body decides to make me cry in the sandwich shop. Thanks brain for the random bad day!

It's called "Being too strong for too long.". It happened to me on New Years Day after trying too hard to cope. It's just natural and things will get better. :)

  7. Ugh. When is this going to get easier? :(

I went through a very very messy break up a (now) good few years back and I know how you feel.  You probably don't feel like going out or doing much, but if money allows go out for a nightout or do something you like. Failing that, get your hair done or pamper yourself one evening - face packs, bath, glass of wine... You are worth it after all!

It's all about feeling good about yourself and knowing that no matter how crap you feel inside you look nice on the outside. ( a bonus if you bump into 'you know who')

One more thing I would say is don't rush it. Concentate on yourself, try to have fun even do things you wanted to do before and for some reason couldn't. (for me this was going to exercise classes with friends)

And remember it's ok to cry.

  8. After the most horrendous end to 2015, I can only hope 2016 is better.

  9. You never realise how strong you are until you have no choice but to be.

Hope you are okay Lauren despite what has happened to you! Probably not the best time to say it, but happy new year, I hope you can sort things out or find the strength to start afresh.

  10. Well this is pretty much the worst Christmas ever.

Your right, Thunderbolt_! It's very similar to depression, I've been through it and it somehow makes you stronger when you start to come out of the other side. :)

Any the wiser as to why he thinks you no longer have a future? Hopefully he wasn't seeing anyone else.

  11. Glad it's not just us with a lack of wintry weather. I see New York today is in the high teens!
  12. Got woken up by the wind several times last night and the roof tiles are clattering. Surprised we haven't lost one yet!
  13. Blimey, it's chucking it down with strong gusts.   This is what I call 'snuggles weather'.
  14. People give young people a bad rap, but when I dropped my handbag and it's contents all over the floor today, not one person stopped to help. In fact a few people literally stepped over me, apart from 3 different teenagers on their own who offered to help.

I work with them. Most are wonderful human beings, the minority of antisocials get the headlines - sometimes justifiably.

As do I Spike most are thoughtful, kind, misunderstood little humans. So many great kids get no credit.
