Getting really down now, no sign of any warmth at all. Wind today was sheer murder. Awful spring.

Rain hammering down and bouncing off the pavement, wind howling and roaring in the trees behind the house. Ahhh the joys of springtime in Scotland

Been murder here, really bad. And we're on the east side. Noise of the wind was scary.

Is there any sign what's causing this rain? Is it the Icelandic volcanoes or anything weird? I can mind the backend of the year sometimes being like this -but not springtime.

Absolutely fed up of rain rain rain and yet more rain.

Groundhog Week. Starts off grey & damp & miserable, gradually dries up a wee bit with some spells of (warm!) sunshine, but that cold wind just doesn't go away. Got to get started in the garden soon though..

Been pure utter misery here for last couple days and currently the BBC has rain from now until Wed teatime.

Sunny spells and sudden showers here but not lasting. That cold wind is murder though.

Wow, again we have good weather down here. Been sunny spells and cloudier spells with an intensely cold wind, but dry all day until teatime when we got a sudden heavy shower - of rain. I even got a biggish washing dried ootside. Def got our own wee mini climate around Jedburgh/Kelso.

Absolutely lovely day here, been oot in garden pottering aboot!
