  1. Had to put it on for an hour or so this morning. It was 12 degrees inside when I got up.
  2. Snowing very lightly here. We've had some overnight. Cars and roofs are white, paths and roads are wet.
  3. Had some rain here this morning. As much as I'd like the snow to get me out of going to the office on Wednesday, I think rain is as much as we'll see
  4. About 2-3 inches here. I opened the door for the cats, but the big old boy didn't fancy it. Silly little hasn't been in the snow before, so took some tentative steps in my footprints, then went back inside. They're both shouting at me to be let outside again. Idiots.
  5. Fog has cleared here now. It's currently - 4.8°. I've got frost covered spiderwebs on the windows and tree that is so frost covered, it looks like a fake, white one
  6. Dead on - 5 here at the moment. The cats shouted at me to go outside, then refused when I opened the window. Sensible.
  7. Had to scrape my car leaving the office at 5 last night, then again 3 hours later. Got down to -3 here. In most years, I'd be enjoying the cold weather but this year, if I must have the heating on, it should really do the decent thing and snow, otherwise it can go back to mild.
  8. My lights come on automatically at sunset, we'll, whatever the Philips Hue app decides is sunset. I've been noticing them coming on earlier and it was half 7 last night.
  9. I've built up a fair bit of credit already, so I'm hoping that, plus the grant will see me through. The house I rent is so poorly insulated that itl have to be a seriously mild winter for me to not need the heating. Ideally, it would be 15+ all winter, apart from Xmas Eve to 2nd January, when it snows
  10. I'm in the same boat here in Braintree. I'm hoping the former applies, as my entire upstairs is the loft space of this 200+ year old converted barn.
  11. Everything has gone from very wet to very white in the space of 10 minutes
