  1. Have to say this week has been a fascinating watch and continues to be so. Never seen such a rollercoaster of a week and continues to be so with model after model giving wildly variant outcomes. Great spectator sport
  2. Looking at that secondary low just forming off Ireland. What consequences do you think this will have on our already forecast windspeeds. Is this likely to squeeze a little more creating even higher windspeeds. Did not the 87 storm develope pretty late on similar to this secondary low. Not for one instance suggesting that but very interesting development
  3. I think because its a rapidly developing system thats still to form any warnings given will be overnight for the morning. Would love to be a fly on the wall in the Met Office tonight. Pandemonium no doubt.
  4. Sorry, bit off topic here but does anyone know which company Stewart (Glacier Point) went to work for. His long range forecasting was a must watch with a great explanation of how he arrived at his conclusions. I'm not suprised he was snapped up as his forecasts patterns were generally pretty close to the mark and would be interested if he is out there still, forecasting for a online company with access for some form of subscription fee.
  5. So much uncertainty from all the models. Is there a certain crunch point within the charts where the models will get a grip and have a good handle on the approximate patern or is it always the same with cold synoptics with wild swings fro run to run ????
