Used to record observations as an Edinburgh teenager in the 1970's. Then went to college and discovered beer etc
I've always been fascinated by weather and climate though, and these last couple of winters exceed anything in my recollection - at least here in Auld Reekie. I'm a data manager at Edinburgh University, so I confess to liking numbers, stats, graphics, data visualisation and all that stuff - I'm a bit of a nerd on that score, I admit it ! I live in the middle of the city, just 5 minutes from Holyrood Park. Will the Holyrood Bowl be open for business again this winter ? Who knows !
