  1. The squall line passed through Norwich about 2ish this afternoon; heavy rain, hail, thunder and lightning, very powerful winds associated with the squall cell- it was proper Armageddon for a while, the hail was coming down in sheets and the 8 meter Eucalyptus in my back garden was getting blown over sideways!
  2. Just had an excellent ts go over here, frequent t&l, very heavy rain, mucho excitement!
  3. Weather station currently reading 31.4°C here in sunny Lakenham
  4. Yep, it's now been snowing here for better than 3 hours, snow laying on previously gritted roads; current temp 0.6c.
  5. http://forum.netweather.tv/user/1211-kold-weather/ "Last active August 13, 2012" On Holiday perhaps?
  6. Would I be right in thinking that Issac could now interact with the Gulf Loop Current?
  7. Recorded 26.5 Celcius in my back garden this afternoon.
  8. Active cell currently tracking South of me- frequent rumbling, radar returns look torrential! Light shower here.
  9. http://www.wsplc.com...er_Station.html I have this (link above), quite good for the price (approx £80) though the touch screen stopped being touch sensitive after about a year & the temp.sensor can read a little high in direct sunshine. Basically you pay for quality- several hundred quid is entirely possible; though this station will connect to your PC I couldn't say whether the software would allow you to share your data... Also you need to give careful thought to where you site your sensor array; the wind direction sensor needs to ideally above roof height as otherwise it will be subject to ground turbulence. Hope that's a help
  10. Actually these tremors appear to be closer to the junction of the Queen Charlotte Fault and the Cascadia subduction zone; gotta wonder how much load this activity is transferring...
