  1. An overcast low ST morning, dry and a low of 12.2 C; the satellite run through suggests the ST is from a northerly rather than an easterly point?
  2. Addicks Fan 1981 Then what is that from se Greenland across the UK into Europe on both the 6-10 and 8-14, I've not kept the charts over the last few days so cannot say how long that trough has been there.
  3. Dry with a sunny start but locally 3-5/8 ST at times now, a low of 9.2 C
  4. Rain All Night When I first started producing 500 mb anomaly charts , many years ago, as a way of giving an overall upper air outlook I did quite often add that paragraph from them. A long time since I did that but very useful to see where data comes from-thanks
  5. Cloudy, dry so far but the radar shows a band of rain not far away and extending all the way back into the Low Countries!. A low of 12.7 C
  6. Cloudy but mostly dry with slight rain just starting; 0.2 mm in the past hour, muggy with an overnight low of 14.4 C
  7. Bit of a breeze but quite a nice day, plenty of sunshine, allowing temps to exceed 22C for the 6 th day; increasing thick Ci now
  8. Dry with patchy cloud and sunny spells; a low of 12.3 C, already up to 15.3 C
  9. Rapidly improving here, some breaks in the low ST and the sun almost through at times, fog gone, temperature on the way up now 14.7 C
