I think this sums up today quite well really, not going to dwell on it not going spark. Still an amazing day.

Missed the fun over Livingston as still in work.. Mightily impressive cloud structures, and from the water everywhere when I got here around 9 must have been some severe cloudburst action.

Fingers crossed for same tomorrow !

Good to see a thread for this, Noctilucent Clouds are great for the late light nights and also insomnia, something completely alien about them. Might be the wiki entry detailing how no one has quite figured out how or why they exist so high in the atmosphere.

Looking forward to another great display this summer.

Folk get at me for being a weather geek sometimes, but this seems like one of summers best kept secrets even among the peoples on here..

Some cracking charts on the ECM, that week of the fine weather for May trend just will not be broken even against all odds it seems.
