Fenland Fylde. The same village as Duncan Iceglide.

Avoiding Duncan in the Mountains - less gnarly attempts nowadays as starting to creak. But been out in it many more times than I can remember. Seen felt and experienced but always respected the weather conditions and all its effects.

  1. Local trudge. Salwick. More like the Norfolk Broads. Half decent when Sun broke.
  2. Yes. Lively out there as reported elsewhere. Belting squall swept through had the Terriers barking so it was get up time. Anyway here’s some Monday Museum Piece Machinery took yesterday out and about when reasonably pleasant from a neighbouring village.
  3. iand61 like owt like that Ian. Saw Pace Eggers years back in Tottington and Bury ELR. Old Lancs traditions dating way back. St Michael’s on Wyre near us had the village Tosspots
  4. Rain Lady Yes. Pitch did looked White. Hail as loud as I’ve heard on the Stadium Roof. Torrential.
  5. Rain Lady Sun nearly out after a good soaking on the coast. Woodburners still on.
  6. Had Worse Travel the line regularly. We went down the Meathop road adjacent to the Railway line at Grange 2 weeks back. Impassable whole area is one big sponge. The Golf course has resembled a boating lake for the last 6 months. Potential collapsed culvert. Unit has damaged the Sea Wall. Big recovery job. Looking like a fortnight.
