Life long interest in meteorology and during winter 1962/63 was a scientific assistant in the Met Office at Heathrow.
Gave it up later in '63 to join "old bill" - I was getting married and needed a house!
Now retired dividing my time between Watford and Capestang 34310 France, where we have just renovated a house and now taking bookings if anyone wants a holiday! :D
Have 2 children and 3 grand children.
Ride a Piaggio X9 Super Scoot on the grounds that I cannot get my leg over any more.
Follow Global warming with interest, though I am not so convinced as I was and prefer to keep an open mind.
