My interests in severe storms really took hold when we lived in Arkansas. April 1979 Pine Bluff had a tornado pass over the town, I saw the funnel cloud as my BBQ set took off along the walk way. I had to take cover in the bath with my 2 year old daughter. I covered us in pillows and waited until things went quiet outside. I have been chasing 8 season out of the last 9 seasons. I have a love of the great plains and the wide open spaces.
