Summer's coming at last !!! Comparative to the last six weeks next week is a dramatic change. Whilst we may not be talking about a real scorcher there's every possibility of sheltered spots in the west hitting mid-high twenties by mid-week. And the extended outlook has a much more pleasant outlook at least in terms of temperatures on both GFS and ECM, so hopefully we've seen the back of north/north-easterly polar sourced air until at least the end of May, (and hopefully a lot longer than that !)

Yep, Mclaren really seem to have a management problem, and the FIA clearly don't like Lewis Hamilton. Whilst we'll never know because Red Bull don't make c*ck-ups like this, if it had been Vettel I wonder if the punishment would have been so severe..................

Whilst F1 is still (often) an exciting prospect, the administrators still seem hell bent on doing everything they can to stain it's reputation and spoil things. Have they been in a permanent sulk since since Ferrari stopped winning ????

Experts have been quoted in the papers by saying the worst hit parts need 500mm of rain, the drought will last right through summer that is certain

Thanks Gavin, so even a few weeks like this, (never mind a few days), still won't make a huge difference then

Does anyone have any idea how much rainfall is needed to get water levels back to normal ? (or to put it another way, how much more weather like we're having now would be needed ?)

It's what I hope to see out the window every day of every winter, (hasn't quite happened yet though.............)
