  3. About 2 inches of overnight snow cover in south Middlesbrough. All snow fall was overnight, between midnight and 8am (which happened to be the times I was asleep!)

  5. Midday Monday in York... Temp: 0c Feels Like: -3c Almost cloudless, frost remains in places.
  6. Typically, for York, it's still foggy, with the temperature currently at 6. And it's nearly midday!
  7. It's a shame it's not - would be great to use for those tourist advertisement campaigns!
  8. That wouldn't surprise me too much, looking at facts and figures about Central Florida's climate it appears to be remarkably constant in terms of high temperatures... probably one of the reasons it's a big tourist destination! Some Florida record highs from weather.com: Tallahassee 39C Orlando 38C (record low for August 18C!!!!!!!!!!! ) Miami 36C Chad's figures were daily records, these are overall.
  9. I love Central Florida summer weather - even though it can be too hot during the day (I find it's a race between air conditioned buildings!) but it's worth it for an amazing thunderstorm almost every day. I was there recently, for 15 nights - had 13 thunderstorms, one particularly severe. Just for the record, the current conditions here (in Middlesbrough, North-East England) - light drizzle (!), 13C, 55C... Come to Middlesbrough to get much lower than the temperature you hoped for; we've got a famous bridge you know?!
  10. I guess this is off topic, but I feel sory for myself... I got 29c here
  11. Under a layer of cloud, Middlesbrough was stuck at 19 until at least 11am. Only 21 by 11.30, but up to 27 at 1.30pm. Tomorrow's going to be quite a day!
  12. Very humid again today here in York. No sign of rain... hopefully we're saving that for Friday! 21c was today's top.
  13. Report of the City of York at 4pm... T-Storm! 12 degrees. 96% humidity. Pressure 997.3 millibars. Winds from east. PS - Apologies to anybody who heard me say York's weather was the most boring in the country!!!
  14. City of York got 21.4mm today... 2/3rds of the record daily total over the last 5 years. Not bad considering most of it was this morning.
