Inverted Cones!

I took this snap of a couple of oddly shaped clouds at around 6:30 this morning. They looked like inverted cones. I couldn't find anything online to explain them. I know the weather is set to change and thought they might be a sign of it. But can anyone tell me anything about them, please? Thanks in advance.

Alto Cumulus with trailing Virga.'A shower in the sky'The precipitation falling is probably snow or hail but it melts and evaporates well before reaching the ground.
