Lincs/Cambs/Peterborough/Sleaford/Slough etc - just the hotbed of Thunderstorm alley in the UK.

heard a deep rumble to the north/north east whilst walking to the shop. Something has developed on the western side and is heading this way. Nice mammantus ahead of this.

Looking at the radar it seems the cells coming down are dying off just before Essex.

Funnel cloud spotted near Bicester from the storm which looks to have passed over me here in MK, didn't personally see anything but the storm was very electrically active,

I'm a bit late getting on here to report, but here in Norwich it passed directly overhead.

Some of the heaviest rain I've seen in a few years. Not the most electrically active but it just keeps rumbling on. It's got some fire in its belly. There seemed to be 3 cells that converged overhead.

Wish I'd got a video of the rain.

Hope your enjoying the storms. Reached 26c here though so a nice compromise. At least your getting some rain. Not been any here for a while.

Looking out of my bedroom window towards the E and this storm has some rotation in it. Pretty much guarantee this will develop a tornado across the fens.

Some real deep booms coming from that beast to the East of here. Definite rotation in that thing too as mentioned.

Looks like it could be brewing up for rain. I need the garden watered.

Getting really quite dark overhead now. Has been gradually looking more and more like rain for the last 30 mins. As of now, nothing, but I wouldn't rule it out.

I think the line of heavy rain and storms seems to e breaking up as it hits London/Kent.

Nothing here not even rain but still very humid even now the sun's dropping.

Another overnight Gloucester import would be lovely but I know that's talking out of turn ;-)

Those East Anglia/Lincs storm clouds are visible from the Welsh border!

Wow, some distance! I remember seeing some cb tops from here to the Wirral and Manchester before haha. amazing how far you can see them from sometimes.

Very impressive structure to my SE< seems like a shower has sprung up out of nowhere. No lightning though.
