[A Face like Thunder]

I was in South Cheshire at the time but don't particularly remember this gale. Highest windspeed (100mph) was near Caernarfon, so the N Wales mountains may have protected us from the worst of the wind.

 A Face like Thunder it was a proper gale in Shropshire, so I'd be surprised if S Cheshire missed it

Remember that Windy spell ,when I was down on Pendine sands! Two of the best tv presenters ever, sadly , today's  weather presenters not in the same league. ....
